• ALWAYS
    • Hold with dry and clean hands.

    • Use clean mixtures and oils.

    • Whenever you open a bearing put it on a clean paper.

    • Work with clean instruments in a clean environment.

    • Clean the dust before fixing the bearing.

    • Protect the open parts of bearings from dust & water.

    • If the bearings have to be wiped, always use a clean cloth which does not loose fragments or yarn.

    • The new bearings should not be washed off its layer of grease or oil, which forms a protective shield.

    • The can of grease for bearings should always be kept covered to protect it from dust & water which might destroy the bearings.

    • Before changing the bearings, carefully clean the bores.

    • When the bearings are not in use, keep them rolled in oil resistant paper.

    • Any unfamiliar voice in the bearing should not be ignored, immediately check its shaft & cover.

    • Treat your old bearings as carefully as you would treat your new bearings.

  • NEVER
    • Open the box or remove coverings of the new bearings long before you are prepared to fix them.

    • Do not try to scratch or rub hard on the surface of the bearing, this might spoil the oily layer & cause abrasion.

    • Do not leave bearings in open, especially in dirty & humid atmosphere.

    • Do not wipe bearing with soiled piece of cloth or cotton; this can do more harm than benefit.

    • Do not rotate bearing with compressed air.

    • Do not hold bearings with wet or unclean hands.

    • Do not work with wooden instruments, small fragments from these may enter bearings & spoil the equipment.

    • Do not use rough edged or breakable tools as these can scratch bearings.

    • Never work in an unclean environment.

    • Dust harms bearings irreplaceably.

    • If you are using the same vessel for cleaning & final rinsing, the whole process losses its meaning.

    • Bearings should not be rotated without cleaning.

    • Lubrication is necessary but incorrect use of lubricants can do more harm.

    • Wrong type of lubrication or inappropriate quantity may spell doom for the equipment.

    • There is a protective layer of oil or grease on the bearing when you open the packet do not try to get rid of it as this ensures smooth functioning of the bearings.
